All futons are vacuum-packed in Japan to minimise freight charges. All prices include GST. Please see the notes below for transit times, vacuum bag recovery and regional zoning.

Shipping Notes and Conditions
- Vacuum-Packed:
All futons are vacuum-packed in Japan to minimise freight charges. It usually takes 6-48 hours of hanging time for your futon to reach its original size once unpacked. - Transit Cover:
All futons are sent with carrier transit cover against loss or damage in transit. - Damaged Deliveries:
Please check your delivery straight away. If the carton is damaged, take photos of it before opening and of any damage, and email them to us on the day it arrives. Please keep all the packaging and don't use a damaged futon until we've sorted it out with the carrier. - Opening Your Futon:
Do not use a sharp blade to open the package. If you cut the bag, cover or futon, it can't be claimed. - Spare Vacuum Bags:
All mattresses and quilts are individually vacuum-packed in reusable futon bags. Spare vacuum bags are available for $14. - Street Address Needed:
We can't deliver to PO boxes or parcel lockers. Please give us a street address. - * Delivery Zone Details:
Some outlying suburbs of cities and towns are not zoned as metropolitan. If you live in one of these areas, it is often cheaper to have your order delivered to a more central address. This also applies to remote locations within the regions listed above. - ~ Regional & Remote Areas:
These are starting prices. Some regional and remote areas cost more to reach, so we will confirm the exact price for your address before we send your order. - ** Transit Time Estimates:
These are based on our carriers' quoted delivery times. We can't guarantee delivery within this window, as unforeseen factors can affect delivery times. December deliveries are often delayed by the increase in volume. - *** New Zealand Orders (NZ):
These are approximate prices for NZ deliveries (prices updated 09/02/26). We can provide more accurate prices on application. All export purchases are GST-free; however, the customer will need to pay any import costs charged by NZ Customs before the shipment is released for delivery. - # Item Surcharges:
